Several days of wallowing in the muddy rot called Militant Islam has recently left me wondering if I can continue this blog. Lordy, I feel like a split personality: the first wants to research, write, and scream a warning from the mountaintops, and the other wants to go see "Borat".

Feeling sorry for myself this afternoon, I stumbled into the superbly healing The Official Website of the Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Me). I nearly fell off my chair.

The site is introduced by an open letter to militant Muslims to calm down, and features links to such delicious bits as the Pope's crowning as the new Prophet, the BBC's repeated calls for the site to be censored (really!), and animated graphics of such things as a Koran download to your computer (not really!) which are. . . indescribable.

The site's brilliant author - who refers to himself as "Mo (PBUM)" has a well-organized feast of terrorist humor, to get you through any bad news day. His talent is no doubt being wasted buried in the web world. This guy should be writing a book, or doing stand-up.
