Several weeks after the incident in the Minneapolis airport, in which six imans were removed from a flight after behaving suspiciously and alarming crew and passengers, details have come out which suggest that the passengers may indeed have averted tragedy.
Speculation claims that the imams' move to settle out of court their harassment suit with airline security may have some ulterior motives. CAIR, the organization which is supplying legal and financial support to the imams, seems now to be pressuring them to settle out of court or drop the suit. The likely reason for this is the realization of CAIR representatives that, as per the U.S. legal system, such a trial would require the organization to make public its funding sources - which terror experts and political analysts have repeatedly claimed comes largely from terrorist organizations, and also reveal its spending patterns. . . some of which allegedly pays for terrorist activities.
Here writer Debra Burlingame, in an edge-of-your-seat piece, gives new details about what really happened to frighten those witnesses, and what the imams are up to now.
